VATM Awards ADB SAFEGATE Tower Control System Contract for Long Thanh International Airport, Vietnam’s Largest Upcoming Greenfield Airport

ADB SAFEGATE has been awarded Package TB03, “Supply and installation of Air Traffic Control Tower systems and equipment,” for Long Thanh International Airport in Vietnam – the country’s largest upcoming greenfield airport and one of the most important aviation projects in the APAC region. The project includes delivering ASMGCS and related subsystems, including surveillance sensors, to ensure safety, interoperability and operational efficiency for Vietnam’s future international air hub.

EUROCAE and ETSI Reconfirm Cooperation with Updated Memorandum of Understanding on ICT and Aviation Standardisation

EUROCAE and ETSI have signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reiterating their commitment to strengthen collaboration in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and aviation standardisation. The agreement, signed by Anna von Groote, Director General of EUROCAE, and Jan Ellsberger, Director General of ETSI, reflects the shared ambition of both organisations to enhance interoperability and contribute to a globally harmonised information infrastructure.

ENAIRE and COCESNA will share best air navigation practices for safer and more sustainable aviation

ENAIRE has signed a memorandum of cooperation with COCESNA, the Central American Corporation for Air Navigation Services, which brings together Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The agreement was signed during ‘Airspace World 2025’, taking place from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 May in Lisbon, Portugal.
